Bill and Melissa of Oakwright Furniture

Meet Bill

Generations of craft.
A personal passion.

Bill brings generations of woodworking knowledge to handcrafted solid wood tables and benches. His work begins with the grain and character of the wood, and the idea of a piece becoming part of everyday life.

From choosing the materials to shaping the details and applying the finish, he brings care to furniture made for gathering.

Make the details yours

A table that fits
your room and your style.

Choose your wood

Explore oak, hickory, and walnut. Natural grain and wood species influence the final color, so use the finish previews as a starting point.

Choose your finish

Compare five wood stains with a matching stained, white, or black base. Rectangular tables offer straight-plank or herringbone tops; round tables have straight-plank tops.

Complete your seating

Pair your table with a 4 ft or 6 ft bench, or one of four coordinating chair designs. Chair seats always stay stained wood, with matching, white, or black frames.

Furniture finishes are previews. Exact color will depend on wood. Seating, accessories, pricing, and final order details are reviewed separately.

Dining table size & seating
